Both Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and the Diocese of Richmond Catholic School are accredited by Middle States Association, a worldwide leader in accreditation and school improvement. For over 130 years, Middle States has been helping school leaders establish and reach their goals, develop strategic plans, promote staff development, and advance student achievement. Hundreds of faith-based schools seek out MSA accreditation because MSA supports and recognizes the importance of having schools fulfill their missions under their specialized faith-based traditions and values.

National Blue Ribbon Award
In 2011, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program was established in 1982 to honor the country’s most successful schools.

The Active RVA Certification program recognizes the Richmond region’s exceptional employers, schools, and early childhood education providers that are implementing innovative programs to promote physical activity.
